Maturation in French oak integrates the fine tannins and allows the cherry and raspberry fruit to form a powerful and packed core with an underlying richness, complexity, a silky texture and a lavish finish.
Dark cherry, orange rind and chinotto, too, pulled across a taut bow of cool climate acidity and vanillin oak tannins, following 14 months in French wood (15 % new). An attractive pinot with detailed tannins, of precision and textural intrigue.
